What comes from a State of Pause

This is a really interesting time. Life is in a state of pause, and we’re in a transition that will have both positive and negative impacts. The silver lining though is the opportunity to slow down, focus on what’s important to you and your wellbeing, and carve up the creativity within you. Or simply now you have enough time to go full steam ahead on a project that’s been left to the wayside.

That’s how SOP was born. From a State of Pause.

I birthed this project during Christmas break 2019, I was reading poolside and discovered I had lost my passion and mojo. After some inner work and focus, I uncovered what was missing in my life was writing, content creation, brand direction and website consulting.

Naturally, since then life got away from me with work plus a few life curveballs came for me left, right and centre. So I took this paused time from work and the world as an opportunity to create. A few years back I was a business coach and it served my clients extremely well. However, the work didn’t come from an honest place. I was eager, sure, but I came from a place of hunger, desperation and the need to prove myself.

So, this time, consulting is going to look a little different.

In the past, I worked with the best of the best in the business (you can imagine the price tag attached), however, I just knew it wasn’t a true reflection of myself and my work.

I’m done with the “American formula” (you know the whole rags-to-riches, work less/earn more, charge astronomically for “life changing programs” - not throwing shade) - I drank the kool-aid, but that taste doesn’t sit with me anymore. It’s time for a change. This time it’s all about YOU. There will be no USD fees or mainstream packages or retreats.
